Special Activities
Besides our Monday night dinners, CSF offers international students many other opportunities to make friends and experience American culture. These events include trips to interesting places, music concerts, outdoor activities, visits in the homes of American families, and special activities for the children of international students.
Exploring Christian Faith Events
These activities are designed to help international students find out more about what Christianity is all about and what it means to be a Christian. These activities will include movie nights, special guest speakers, field trips, and retreats.
Join with others for a friendly and meaningful time of worship that blends the beauty and liturgy of ancient Christian traditions with devotional songs, scripture reading, prayer, and practical insights from God's written word.

Deeper Life Retreats
Each semester we offer a weekend retreat experience designed to give you practical tools and help you discover effective pathways toward spiritual formation and growth. We reserve a retreat facility near Twin Cities and do our best to keep the cost very low (usually $35-$50).
Deeper Life Events
In addition to Together Groups and Evensong, we offer students a variety of ways to stimulate their spiritual growth. These include Deeper Life Mentorships (follow-up to the Deeper Life Retreat); Men's Fellowship Events; and Women's Fellowship Events. For more information, contact Brad Dewing at:
heybrad@csf.net.
Service Days
Learning to serve others is a very important part of the Christian life. In CSF you'll have several opportunities each semester to share yourself with others through serving. Examples of service day projects include: working at a food shelf; providing a meal at a homeless shelter; playing with children in an after-school program; spending time with seniors in a care center; packaging meals for starving children in third-world countries; and more. Check the
CSF Events Calendar to find the dates and details of upcoming
Service Days.
Mission Trips
We think it is important for students to develop a healthy perspective of the world and to gain life experience beyond their own language, culture, and place. To this end, CSF offers students a number cross-cultural and international missions opportunities. These include: inner-city work in New York; Gulf Coast relief work in Mississippi; work in juvenile detention facilities; working with orphanages and youth camps in Romania; working with youth in Ukraine; and more. Check the
CSF Events Calendar to find the dates and details of upcoming
Missions Trips.
